Our Vision for the Charity Golf Tournament the Knights of Columbus Council 7152 of Statesville will be holding a Charity golf tournament on Monday, September 15, 2025, at River Oaks golf club in Statesville. The Knights of Columbus is a national Charitable 501c-3 (tax deductible) Organization that has been dedicated for decades to helping a whole variety of charitable works. Our Statesville Council, residing at St. Philip the Apostle, has donated over 2,637 hours in 2024 for various charitable works, we want to do more in 2025! 

     Our Statesville Council is upping our fund-raising efforts, in part to address the enormous need following Hurricane Helene’s devastation to NW North Carolina residents, homes and businesses. The golf tournament will be our first fundraiser of this kind. Candidate NW North Carolina charities include Samaritan’s Purse, North Carolina Relief Fund, Western North Carolina Emergency Network, Manna Food Bank, and Beloved Asheville. 

     Besides those worthy charities associated with the recovery, the Knights of Columbus will broaden and continue to support several different charities focusing on local Statesville, Troutman and Iredell County endeavors some of which have included: the Backpack ministry for hungry children, Gi-Gi Playhouse, Christian Mission, Feed NC, Pregnancy Center, Special Olympics, Purple Heart Homes, Children’s Home of Iredell County and St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church.
